Teacher's Day

Well, today is teacher's day, so to all the teachers out there, evil or not, happy teacher's day. Your lifeless dedication is much appreciated by, well a few. So yesterday, we had the teacher's day celebrations in school, along with the aces day workout. Well, the workout was retarded, as expected. Bollywood dance, nice joke. I was on duty, as usual, and from up there in the control room the view was entertaining, very entertaining indeed. A few people actually trying to dance for real here and there, others playing a fool. For the three of us up there, we noticed a few things. Out of our class girls, only like 4 were dancing, Wen Jun noticed this, as expected. Bryce dancing was really funny to see, like zombie dancing. Jun Jie from 3/5 had a aura of oppression of something around him and no one was within 1 meter of him. There was like a full round of empty space around him. But overall, the whole dance was rather boring for me. Wen Jun and Cao Jian were watching the dance for ulterior motives, which many of you can guess. Also, the three of us up there received many middle finger signals from the crowd below, despising our escape from the dance.

After the dance was recess. I just went down, bought a drink and slacked off. Then after recess, the rest of the class went up for math while the three of us went for teacher's day duty. Then for some reason Neil came back to the control room saying that there was no lesson or something. Some idiot. There was lesson, come there to flirt only. But that aside, we went to set up for the celebrations. We were done quite quickly and had about half an hour to slack off.

After that, the school started to come in and the celebrations began. My AV senior was up there with us during the performance and he pretty much cursed all the items. The principal talk bored the whole school at the start and the senior kept telling me to mute her mic. Next was the awards presentation. Pretty boring to see all the teachers being thanked for their lifeless dedications. Next was Hero song by a girl I have no idea who she is. Apparently she sang out of beat by a second. Then was the video. Extremely badly done but was good entertainment. Black backgrounds of teachers talking about their heros and Miss Yeo saying she's young. After that was the song climb by Sal and Li Fei the one eyed guitarist. Well the guitar was soft, I admit, but there was nothing I could do about it. I think many people found this performance very boring. Next was the best entertainment for all, the black stars, more like black joke. I will say this though, they have improved much from the first rehearsal. Then was the Vivian Qiu Ying song, also known as Tan and Ker. Their blending was good said by James. Other than that I don't really have much to say about this performance. Well, expect for the fact that the council president is so useless that her contribution to the celebration was the performance. Rayner and Jia Wen the ASEAN scholar were pretty much running the show, also they wrote the principal's speech. After Tan and Ker, was the chinese dance, probably Wen Jun's favorite part, along with many others. My senior told me that the song they danced to was a sex song, ironic is it not? Then the last performance was Jeremy singing a chinese song. Thanks for that I really loved that part. Next time I'll hire a translator too. Then after that was the cake cutting, background music was another chinese Jeremy song. Wonderful. And with that the celebrations ended, after all the long rehearsals and everything.

After the celebrations, Michael, Cao Jian, Rayner and me went to Jurong Point. Zhong Ping had left earlier then us to do something. So we went to Jurong Point and there we ate burger king, burnt all my savings. There we met with a primary school friend of mine. She didn't recognize Michael, as Michael expected. Has he really changed that much? Well, I don't know, but she recognized Rayner and me easily. We both agreed that we haven't changed much. And then she told me about the class meeting at school. Apparently only 3 other guys turned up and our teacher only stayed for like 10 minutes. She also told me about the rubbish the new principal has done to our school. After a while she left. Then as we finished our meal, Zhong Ping turned up. We then finished our meal and left Jurong Point for Michael's house. At his house we slacked and played his Playstation 2. Cao Jian was fearful of Michael's dog for some reason. It was funny to watch him fleeing from it. Halfway Kah Leong turned up and him and Cao Jian sang chinese songs. Thanks, join Jeremy. We stayed there untill like 6. We all took the bus. Cao Jian and Rayner got off 2 stops later, Zhong Ping 3 stops later. Kah Leong took it to Pioneer MRT station and I took it back to Jurong Point. Then took 2 buses back home. As always, home is boring and that brings to the end of the day.

Before I end this post, I want to tell you all out there that over the weekend, I finally got a phone. Those who want my number, come and ask me. I won't be putting it here as that way, anyone could get it. With that, I end this post.
