Kick-Ass Class Outing

Hehe. The title has like 2 meanings to it. One is the literal meaning, meaning that the class outing was great. The other is the ironic meaning, saying that it was Fail. I say it was fail cause not even half the class turned up, from their own valid and invalid reasons. But for those that were there, I would say that we had a great time.

I came to Jurong East interchange at like 9.00 a.m. I was dam early, I know. Waited around for others to turn up. In the end, I think there were 17 people who turned up for the trip. Took MRT to Bedok and then a bus to East Coast Park. Walked from the bus stop to the park via a underpass. The underpass was cool, like a place were serect gang meetings would take place or something.

When we reached the park, we first went to the bike loan shop. But then Wen Jun wanted to grab a bite before we took off, so we turned back and went to Mac instead. There Wen Jun bought what he wanted and then most of us left. Xue Yi, Xin Ying, Rebecca and Sharen stayed behind to chat among themselves.

The rest of us headed back to the bike shop and Qi En, Jasmin, Derek, Wen Jun, Zul, Ting Yi, Santhosh, Zulhilmi, Rayner and me loaned bikes. $6 for 3 hours sounded sorta good to me. Then we took off. Somehow, I have no idea how or where or when, we left Jasmin and Qi En. The rest of us guys went on, out of the park and towards Changi Beach. On the way there, we bumped into this little gang of malay boys. They were like I think Primary four or five only. But they acted like bigshot gangsters. It's like they were just not happy to see us or something. They tried to pick a fight with us, almost kicked Zul off his bike and tried to ram me, but they were too slow. Man, me and Wen Jun were like heated up and would have taken them out if it wasn't for the fact that we wear all wearing the class tee, with our name and the school name on it. Those little punks... bet I would have massacred them alone. But nevermind, sooner or later down the road, they're going to get it.

Halfway to Changi, just a bit after exiting East Coast Park, Santhosh, Zulhilmi and Ting Yi decided to go back. That left Derek, Rayner, Wen Jun, Zul and me to continue on to Changi. On our way there we met a good looking girl named Hui Min. We knew her name cause she was wearing her class tee too. I chatted with her while waiting for the rest to catch up to me. She was a nice person to talk with, easy conversation. I would have asked for her number if I had a phone, hehe. We went with her for most part of the trip to Changi. Then when we were close to Changi, calls started coming in saying that Zul had somehow pissed off Xue Yi by "bringing" us to Changi. I didn't really belive this. We reached Changi at like 1.47 or so, and we started at like 12.35 or so. Kinda good?

We then quickly turned back to return to East Coast Park, party due to the calls. We asked Hui Min if she was headed back, but she said she was going deeper into Changi Park. So we went on, back to East Coast Park I think the others were sorta drained of energy after reaching Changi. I went ahead, non-stop and reached East Coast park fairly quickly, by 2.20. Waited for the rest as I had left them behind. I didn't mean to, but I find cycling fun if only it's fast, as the wind and such is much more enjoyable that way. Then we rode back to the bike loan shop and then we met the rest of the gang. They said Xue Yi left in a temper due to what Zul "did" or something. I didn't really belive or care about that. Returned our bikes half an hour early, then found out that Zulhilmi returned his earlier. But then the shop keepers said his bike or missing or something and wouldn't return our Ezlink cards. What the hell, man. Ah whatever. A few of us gave our contact numbers to them and they said that they would call us back if the bike was found. They didn't say what would happen if it wasn't found. Shit. Then we went to Mac to have lunch, at what, 3.15 or so? Ate there and slacked for a while while we recovered from the tiring trip. We must have travelled, what 25km? Then the shop called us at like 3.45 or so and said the bike was found. We went back to the shop and collected our Ezlink cards, what a relief.

We then went to play soccer. While searching for a spot, somewhere along the way Wen Jun bumped into a woman on a bike and injured his calf. He fell forward and almost hit another. The girl on this other bike got angry for some unknown reason and said "Fuck you." What the hell again. It was a damn accident, no need for such powerful language there. People nowadays have no patience at all. We continued along the way after Wen Jun put on a plaster on his wound. Found a suitable spot for soccer and played for a bit. Qi En and Jasmin didn't play but sat under a tree. Jasmin was drawing and Qi En was reading, I think. I kept doing low kicks rather then kicking the ball, and I truely have no idea why I did. Later we went for "half-time" which instead turned out to become a rather werid conversation which dragged untill the time we left. Meanwhile, Derek and Cao Jian went to the beach to play afool. They found a "pure white" stone, covered in sand, which Derek christened his son. Why? Don't ask me. They also found kites embedded in the ground, stones that look like grave stones, with the engravings, and an apple with a bar code which was brought in by the waves. Then we got bored after a while and decided to return home. Went to Seven-Eleven before that and Rayner sponered me a Jolly Sandy. Apparently it's acholic. I never drunk one before, but I found that it tasted good, the lemon one. Most of the others followed suit. Heh, we were all underage "drunkards".

Took the underpass and bus back to Bedok interchange. On the bus, Wen Jun complemented that the East Coast has lots of good looking girls and sweet housing with wonderous views. Although I can't say I disagree, the west also has our own fair share of both of these, I would say. On the MRT I was with Michael, Cao Jian and Qi En. Don't really remember where the conversation started at, but we somehow ended up talking about the different races or something. Qi En kept saying Bryce looks Malay, huh? He does? I don't really know or care though. Took my buses home from Jurong Point and reached home at like 8+ or so. Travelling on the bus sucks, cycling is way better. At home, the impact of all the cycling suddenly came in and my leg joints felt sore. Felt tired and went to sleep at like 11. Suddenly woke up in the middle of the night though. But then went straight back to sleep, werid.

Well that's the end of that. This is the end of this post, see ya all around next time.
